Breezy

I took a picture of the birches swaying and the grass waving wildly, so you could see just how windy it's been around here lately . . .

Unfortunately, this photo looks no different than one taken on a still day.

How about a photo of the choppy waves instead?
The wind really stirs up the whitecaps and sends ripples along the water's surface.

It's harder than I thought to take a picture of the wind.
It's almost as if you can't actually see it.

Dinner last night: chicken pot pie, green salad

It still looks beautiful even if the wind is blowing.

It's just beautiful, windy or not.

Funny. I do see the choppy waves but the swaying grasses, not so much! Such a beautiful landscape and I can imagine the wind.

Thanks for making me snicker to myself. Now there's a project. Taking pictures of the wind. Sounds like an activity to keep the kids busy while mom takes a nap.

Thanks for sharing these photos! Those are some of our favorite places to go! We are in AK too! :o)

Oh, and 60's--PERFECT day for the beach! At least when we went there was actually a little bit of sun, so you can probably guess one of the few days this summer we went. :o)
