View from a Kitchen

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm in a bit of a funk. I try not to post when I feel like this, because my writing comes out all life flashes around me like lightning in a dark sky. What the huh?

Fortunately, summer is saving my poor self. Our lilac bush has come to the rescue, blooming in all its fragrant glory right outside my window, reminding me to stop and smell the . . . lilacs.

Washing dishes isn't so bad when I get to look at this!

Amen to that. =] They are beautiful and I bet your house smells lovely when the windows are open. =]

I'll have to get Hubby to plant mine somewhere by my kitchen windows. =]

Those are beautiful. I hope you are feeling better soon. I get "funny" right after school gets out. Not sure what to do with myself for a while.

How refreshing. I can't wait until we plant lilacs to enjoy them next spring.

I was having a really frustrating day at work recently. When I walked outside to get away at lunchtime, I was suddenly overwhelmed with the most heavenly aroma of a sea of brand new rose blossoms. They were everywhere. And my mood immediately improved.

I hope you get to feeling better soon! Keep enjoying those lilacs!
