7 Hours, 2 Minutes

This time of year, daylight is short and darkness is long. The thermometer is sitting a hair above 0° and won't be moving much over the next couple of days. It's a good week for stoking the fire and catching up on my reading. And eating cookies.

Alaskan sunrise at 9:14 a.m.

Dinner last night: lasagna, green beans, Caesar salad, bread

Glad you're all feeling better - I miss you when you don't post!

Too bad about the zero degree weather...it's been unseasonably warm this week, warm enough for shorts during the day. But the cold is coming.....

Go easy on the cookies!

We're down to about 9 hours of daylight in the UK now - but thankfully still pretty warm (16 celsius yesterday!).

Enjoy those cookies :)

I remember living in Quebec when the sun wouldn't rise until around 9 and would set by 4. I don't miss those days. But the 20+ hours of summer sunlight I think I could handle just fine!
